Brigadier General Jared Kennish is the President of Kennish Consulting, LLC. He retired from the Rhode Island Air National Guard in August of 2004 after 37 years of distinguished serviced to both the active duty and reserve components. He last served as the Assistant Adjutant General for Air in the State of Rhode Island. In this position he was responsible for all the Air National Guard assets in Rhode Island and provided strategic guidance and Command of all units.

Before entering the private sector, Brig Gen Kennish served as the Chief of Staff of the Rhode Island Air National Guard. He also commanded the 143 Airlift Wing, which is currently converting to the new C-130J aircraft. Shortly after September 11, 2001 he volunteered for and was selected as a Director of the Pentagon's Crisis Action Team, serving numerous tours of duty. In November of 2002 he was chosen as the Commander of the 376 Air Expeditionary Wing Manas, Kyrgyzstan. In this capacity he commanded an international force consisting of 8 Nations, 1700 personal and 45 aircraft flying combat missions into Afghanistan from a remote Central Asian Nation. Cited by several Nations Defense Ministries for "inspired leadership under demanding conditions" he was awarded the Bronze Star by the CENTCOM Commander General "Buzz" Mosely.

Brig Gen Kennish received a Bachelor's degree in business management from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's in Forest Land Management from the New York State College of Environmental Science. His leadership training in the Air Force included Air Command and Staff College and Air War College.
